Bibles and Study Materials

Most people who attend churches in Kenya do not own a Bible. Inexpensive paperback Bibles in English or Swahili are readily available in Kenya and it is one of API USA’s goals to provide sufficient Bibles for those who attend API churches. In addition, pastors in Kenya do not have the means to buy or the access to Bible teaching and study materials, discipleship training materials or Sunday School curriculum. API USA is committed to making these resources available to the pastors and churches involved with API Kenya on an on-going basis.  Click here to become a part of this effort.

Biblical Training

API USA offers pastors and church leaders in Kenya the opportunity to earn degrees with our Independent Study Program.  We hold one week-long intensive Bible Training Seminars in-country twice a year, where we bring in pastors and professors to teach specific courses for our students where they earn seminary credits.  During the rest of the year, the students are engaged in earning seminary credits through other courses in the Independent Study Program.  We offer Associate and Bachelor degrees in Theology, and Master of Theology degrees.  Please consider sending $100 to sponsor a pastor and help equip the leaders of the churches in Kenya.

Pastor/Leadership Conferences

API USA provides leadership training to pastors and leaders of Kenyan churches through annual pastors and leaders conferences, supplying books and teaching materials free of charge to those pastors and leaders that attend.  We believe that healthy churches require well-equipped, trained leadership, and we are committed to do that. Listen to an interview with Pastor Boniface Lokuruka from Lodwar below.  To sponsor a pastor go here.

Help build/repair/furnish a church for API pastors

Most churches of API pastors are not permanent structures. They have little security, inadequate seating and other fixtures and equipment to fully function. There is an immediate need to upgrade the doors, windows and locks for most churches so the chairs do not have to be taken home after each service. Others still need materials for walls and roof. New churches will be built if financial support is available for land, structure, furniture, fixtures and equipment.  For more information visit the Brad Pederson Memorial Building Fund.
