Conference
It is April 19, Saturday afternoon and we have finished our second conference in Churo. But I need to bring you up to speed on our conference in Nalepo where I left you on Monday.  Needless to say, the internet has been less than helpful where we are and there have been frequent power outages. But this seems to be a good day!
Fred
In Nalepo, I was joined by Bishop Fredrick Ndondo to teach through the letter to the Ephesians. Fred is such a great pastor and teacher and the Maasai loved his teaching! Being Kenyan, he has certain insights that I don't have that allow applications that really speak to the locals. We teach in English and it is translated into Maasai.
LIFE
We were also joined by the LIFE International team of Kennedy, Charles, and the Director Patrick who shared on the Sanctity of Human Life, and also gave much-needed biblical clarity on some cultural issues of significance to the African church such as multiple wives, FGM, sexuality and marriage relationships. I thank the Lord for this ministry and we are looking forward to more opportunities to be together.
John
As usual, our Media Specialist, John Kamau, did a great job on all the media, meeting and beating every challenge! And we did have challenges.  But that is normal in Kenya.
Linda
While the adults were working through Ephesians, Linda Galle and her team were teaching about 105 children every day about God and His creation.
Children
This was a VBS styled adventure for the kids with class time interspersed with outside games. Linda and the team brought balloons, frisbees, volleyballs and soccer balls which remained behind.

Here is Peter showing off his Premier League skills.

Abigail showing off her frisbee expertise.
Abigail
Frank, our Director of Logistics really hit his stride helping the VBS team with the kids. We called him the Pied Piper of Nalepo. The kids loved him!
Pied Piper
A special thanks to our hosts, Stephen and Betty Muntet. They made everything so easy for us!
Hosts
We had almost 150 pastors and church leaders attend the conference and I believe they were blessed by coming. I know we were blessed to minister!
